Privacy policy

The short version

myraveworld uses your information to provide the account, poster, show-planning, favorites, friendship, sharing, shop, and optional email features you request. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The weekly digest is off by default.

Information we collect

• Account information: email address, optional name, securely hashed password, account creation date, and newsletter preference.
• Content you provide: storyboards, events, shows, favorites, notes, ticket links, sharing choices, and friendship connections.
• Session and security information: an essential sign-in cookie and technical request information such as IP address used for security and rate limiting. Hosting providers may retain standard server logs.
• Order information: if you order from the kandi shop, the items and any custom beaded phrase, the shipping name and address you enter, your contact email, order notes, order totals, and fulfillment status.
• Search information: artist, festival, venue, video, and tour queries you submit to connected search services.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the service, authenticate accounts, save and export boards, return search results, enable sharing and friendship features, fulfill and support shop orders, provide support, and send the weekly digest only when you have opted in. We may also use limited information to diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

Sharing and service providers

We disclose information only as needed to run requested features, protect the service, or comply with law. Providers may include Vercel for hosting, Neon for database hosting, Resend for opted-in email delivery, shipping carriers for delivering shop orders, Anthropic for poster-copy enhancement, and music discovery providers such as Spotify, EDMTrain, Bandsintown, and YouTube. Search providers receive the query needed to return results. Public boards and content shared with friends are visible according to the sharing controls you select.

Cookies and tracking

We use two essential, HTTP-only cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a shopping-cart cookie that holds the items you have added to the kandi shop cart. Both last up to 30 days and neither is used for advertising. The current service does not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral analytics. If that changes, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before those tools are enabled.

Your choices and rights

• Turn the weekly digest on or off at any time in Settings. Every digest also contains a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Change content and sharing choices inside the service.
• Delete your account and associated boards, events, shows, favorites, and friendships from Settings.
• Depending on where you live, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of your personal information without discrimination.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no sale or advertising-sharing activity to opt out of.

Retention and security

We keep account information and user content while your account is active. Account deletion removes associated application data from the active database, subject to short-lived backups, security needs, and records we must retain by law. Placed shop orders are kept as business and tax records and are unlinked from your account when it is deleted. We use password hashing, signed HTTP-only cookies, access controls, and encrypted provider connections, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can investigate and delete it.
